Candied Bacon
This recipe is so easy! And such a yummy treat to bring to a party or serve as an appetizer. Thick cut bacon works best! Be prepared to make a second batch because your family and friends will gobble thee candied bacon strips up so fast you will not know what happened! Helpful tips: Line baking sheet with tin foil or parchment paper for ease of clean up. Use a wire rack to elevate bacon so it is not wallowing in the melted bacon fat. It will crips much nicer if a rack is used.
Ingredients:
  • 1 Pack of Thick Sliced Bacon
  • 6 TBSP Light Brown Sugar
  • 6 TBSP Maple Syrup
  • 2 TBSP #64 Peach Habanero & Ginger Sauce
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Spread bacon onto flat baking sheet. I like to use a wire rack on baking sheet to keep bacon crispy.
  3. Mix together the remaining three ingredients until thoroughly blended.
  4. Using a brush, coat both sides of each slice of bacon.
  5. Place in oven and cook for approximately 30 minutes (or until bacon reaches the level of crispiness you love!)
  6. Enjoy!
